We watched "American Beauty" again tonight. I love this movie, and I'd gotten a hankering to watch it again, maybe I needed to watch it or something.
I cannot agree more that this world is full of so much beauty, I don't even know what to do with it all, or how to express my joy at seeing it every day, in such stupid little places. I caught a ladybug today, inside our building, and rather than have it get squished on our stairway, I brought it back to my desk, put it on my monitor, and gave it a leaf from my Jade plant. It spent the rest of the day just standing on the leaf. It was a such a perfect little piece of nature, I'd just stop and lean up real close and just stare at it every so often.
The beauty is everywhere, and we are so lucky to be surrounded by it.
