So, Saturday, I managed to TRICK Hannah into walking three steps on her own. I was walking behind her, holding her hands for balance, and I simply SNEAKED my fingers out of her hands, and she took three wobbly steps, and then fell on her butt. :)

Now, however, she's learned. I tried that again yesterday, and she had KUNG FOO GRIP on my fingers. She would NOT let go. Darn Darn Darn....

Try having her hold onto a toy or something while you also hold the toy...easier to let go. :)

Is my little surrogate karate daughter almost ready for karate??

I'm SO looking forward to going up there and finding a dojo and then coming up for ALL her belt tests.

Hell, I might have to MOVE for this.

I think you've got a few years yet. I can't imagine any dojo's taking kids before they're three or so... you know, potty trained and able (theoretically) to follow directions.
