siercia taught me to knit last night. I can now cast on, and am busily knitting a square. OK, I'm actually probably knitting a hat, but it's a piece of knitting at this point.
I'm not half-bad at it, after I got over the stupid "Add-a-stitch" trick that took me from 21 to 31 stitches. Oops. OK, so it'll be a little larger than planned... I have a decent-sized head....
