First and foremost: Stay above the waistline. OUCH!

Second: If considering the nipple (something we should all do on a daily basis) for piercing, be aware that it will take about 7-10 months before it stops being over sensitive and about a year before the internal scabbing is completely gone. After that year, though, it's a nice accessory.

I'm seconding the tongue because I assume that you don't want any extremely visible ones.

I do think the facial ones that look like birthmarks are cool, though. I wish I could have one! Plus I miss my labret.

The nipple piercings are grand, but as jost said, they take a long time to get to a reasonable level of sensation. I had to remove mine once upon a time because I was in massage school.

You might consider the industrial, which pierces your upper ear cartilage in two places. People wear straight bars with them, and they are awesome!

Visibility isn't really an issue with me, none of my work places have cared, or cared enough to tell me they cared, and that's all that matter, isn't it? :)
