I don't feel as if I had much to add to what most of the people on my friendlist have said about September 11th. I remember the day quite well, I remember hearing about it, and going into the conference room to turn on the TV in time to see the second plane crash through the second tower. At first, I heard the cessna story, and I thought it looked like an awful lot of damage for a small cessna, but once that second plane hit, there really wasn't much question of what really happened.
I remember thinking about 5 minutes later, "I need to be home."
siercia was was still a stay-at-home Mom at that point, and I was truly worried that attacks like what happened in NYC were going to happen in other major cities, like Boston, so I went to my boss and told her, "I am going home now to be to my family. If nothing else happens, I'll be back tomorrow."
I went home, and spent the day watching the news, and trying to call
biophile6. I didn't find out about his adventures until the next day. I called my Mom and told her we were OK, nothing was happening where we were.
So, I guess I had more to add, but it's not really worth much in the grand scheme of things.
