SO glad I left

First, read
http://www.boston.com/business/technology/articles/2006/01/06/emc_to_cut_1000_jobs/
I can't get over the line, "This is being done because things are going well." That is more arrogance than I thought even EMC capable of.
They have made this "rebalancing/performance reduction" claim almost every year I was there, and that was while we were clawing and scraping and STILL making the managers at EMC a TON of money. Each year we'd lose more competent friends and co-workers, and every year, the president and CEO would still make their yearly numbers, and get their huge bonuses. No, we are not amused.
So glad I took the leap and left when I did.
