Workouts: What I learned yesterday
Jan. 7th, 2010 11:49 amIf...
A: You haven't worked out in over a week, and...
B: You spent that week with a low-grade cold, and
C: Your workouts tax you majorly when you're keeping up with them, then...
DO NOT GO BACK FULL-BORE when you do make it back to the gym. I made it through about 90% of my routine, and then had to sit on the floor, worried the dizziness was going to make me vomit all over the weight machine.
I think I still have some of whatever illness/cold I had. When I go back to the gym Saturday, probably), I'm going to lower eveything by 10lb or so, and start back from there. I don't care about having to work my way back up.
PS: "New Years Resolution" time at the gym SUCKS. It was PACKED yesterday. I need to find some odd times to go without a TON of people sitting around on the machines.
