Reverse weekend
Aug. 17th, 2009 10:32 amSunday night: Mowed the jungle we had for a lawn, BBQ'd chicken, Foil Pack Potatoes, .75L of Dogfish Head Chateau Jiahu, and Mad Men with the wife. Relaxing.

skreeky's pool, along with siercia, widget, and some other friends.
Sunday morning: Brunch with H.S. friend-turned-fireman Erik and his wife. Good to catch up and hang out. (Also: Discovered Car's Airbag light is on. Hoping I don't get a face full of Nylon every time I drive over a bump)
Saturday night: Matt and Sunnie's 7th Anniversary party, at Sabur restaurant. A very good time, with friends, their family and some folks I had not yet met. (Also: AWESOME PARKING SPOT)
Saturday morning/Afternoon: With Widget, hooked up trailer to go helpliddle_oldman and wife move a bunch of stuff to Goodwill as part of their moving process. Entire trailer covered in plastic bags of stuff. Very cool. Also with Widget, replaced almost all the dirt and rocks dug out from around the wall back into the huge hole around the now-completed wall! Hurrah! After that, shower to clean off, and then we went to see Ponyo, the new Miyazaki movie. Very cute, worth seeing. One of his more "little-kid" friendly movies, but still fun for adults.
An excellent weekend, some relaxing, some working.
