As she stood outside, she saw the last remaining thief trying to pull out one of the reindeer from the ground.
"My boys loved these deer," she said. "My boys worked hard putting them out and decorating."
Watching the guy right before her stealing was the last straw; Denham gave a bat she brought with her a swing.
"I...swung low [and] nailed him pretty good," she said.
Accomplices across the street yelled out, "Hey batter, batter."
"He fell over, looked up shocked," Denham said. "His buddies came running."
