Seriously, he rocked

I've seen this guy a lot of days in the psat four years since we moved to Weymouth. We went through this intersection almost every day. WHen he was there, traffic moved. When he wasn't, it SUCKED. He was BY FAR the best traffic cop I've EVER SEEN ANYWHERE.

The day he retired, last Monday, there was a sign a few hundred yards before the intersection, telling people that he was retiring, and that you should honk to say goodbye. I think I went deaf as I drove through the intersection honking like crazy, Widget waving in the back seat!
