The weather outside is...

Delightful. It feels tropically warm at 23 degrees, and the snow blowing down off of the tops of the buildings outside my windows looks like a white veil of silk whipping down the street.

I got a good review yesterday for my work the past year. I was told I could expect a raise in April. Of course, I was told the part about the raise by someone who has NO direct control over that raise, but hey, it's lookin' good. My first raise EVER at this job.

I just talked my local IS guy (Bob, the nice one) into a half-gig memory upgrade for my laptop. He happened to have a spare 512meg SO-DIMM sitting around, and as he put it, "Well, you're the first person to ask me for it. Here ya go."
