siercia and I took a walk through our old College Campus, Clark University, this evening, since it's reunion weekend. It was a little odd going back there after 8 years, for one of the few visits we've made back there. There weren't many people just wandering, since it was close to 7pm, and the Reunion activities were all going on in centralized locations, and we didn't pay for any of them, 'cause we're lazybutts. But we walked over all the places we used to go on campus, stopped by or looked at the houses we used to live on off-campus Junior and Senior years, and I even queried a class of '04 person as to what had changed on campus. (Thank God, Choices, the Sex Clinic Siercia and I used to work at is still there.)
Mostly we just bummed around, looked at stuff, wandered. At one point, we were walking back up from Main Street, and Siercia surprised me by saying suddenly, "God, I miss this place." I felt exactly the same, and I think I knew how she felt about it too, but it was just surprising to hear. College years at Clark were a GOOD damn time. It's a shame most people can't find a way to live their entire life like that.
