Friend A: "Don't get me wrong, Scirocco. I *like* kids, and I would like to eventually have some of my own..."

Friend A: "...but this lady and her daughter are, to me, clear examples of how *not* to raise kids."

Scirocco: "I just think it's funny how everyone thinks THEIR kids are going to be "different" from most others. :)"

You say "We've got a decent kid, and even SHE does stuff like that."

You say "And I'm sure she'll do it more as she gets older, to a certain degree."

Scirocco: "And I was gonna be damned if I let my kid do that kind of thing when I had MY kid(s). :)"

Friend B: "well thats kinda what kids do, isnt it?"

Scirocco: "sure, they're learning what they can and can't do. You'll be happy to listen to it when you realize what a miracle it is that this little person who could only babble 6 months ago can now make complete sentences and ideas."



This is what I believe. It's harder to believe when Ms. Widget is acting like a little brat, but I DO try to remember. :)
