The Gift of Men
Jan. 6th, 2003 10:26 amI'm beginning to see why Tolkien's Elves were jealous of the gift from Illuvatar to the Men of the world. I'm tired of things dying around me. If I had to live forever and watch everything around me die, I'd probably bemoan my immortality as well.
