Things I did yesterday

Reconfigured a symmetrix - THREE TIMES.

Found out my knee is NOT farked, as I had been worried it was. I have THIS which is fairly harmless, if annoying. NO Surgery.

I swept and swiffered the bottom floor of the house.

I put dishes away.

I washed other dishes that needed washin'.

I did some laundry.

And most importantly, I played with BABY. :)

I laughed SO Much

Last night, Hannah and I were playing with her toys in the Kitchen. She's developed a little temper now, so if you don't do what she wants, she gets all screamy sometimes, and her little body goes rigid, and she clenches her little fists and turns RED! She usually ends up face-down screaming. I've started letting her scream herself out (2-3 minutes) and then she gets up and goes about her day.

This time, however, she wanted to be picked up, but I was tired, so I laid down on the floor next to her. She went into full-on conniption mode, and it was a GOOD one, almost more angry than I've ever seen her. God help me, I started LAUGHING uncontrollably, almost suffocating laughing while she was writhing on the floor. While laughing, and she was crying, I picked her up and laid her on my chest, where she continued to cry and suck her thumb. Eventually, while I was STILL laughing, she stopped crying, and then she started LAUGHING at ME laughing! So, we're both lying on the floor, me in tears from laughing so hard, and now she sits up and is laughing at everything, me, the cat, the Elmo doll.... This is how parenting should be, right?
