Disharmony doesn't surprise me, in this case. It just disappoints me. I heard several quite sensible suggestions previously on NPR, and read a few, too.
I hate it when there are people who won't compromise sufficiently to get things actually done.
Grrr. Supposedly the Republicans want the auto makers to declare bankruptcy, THEN bail them out... that way they'll break the UAW contracts. bastards. Also, I still haven't heard anything about kicking the CEOs to the curb being a prerequisite.
