Roomba pitfalls

No, not the stairs. While it speeds full-tilt towards the edges of stairways, it ALWAYS stops RIGHT at the brink of destruction, and turns to go another way.

No, the downside is that while this device is designed to clean WITHOUT human interaction, I am almost COMPELLED to watch it clean, simply because of how cool it is. I may never be able to manually clean another home again, these things are so cool.

I have the same problem. I love to run it for before when people are coming over. It totally saves time.

Yeah, I think once or twice a week per floor is going to be amazingly helpful for us!

I am really, REALLY tempted to get one of these, simply because I have every intention to sweep the hardwood manually but never do. The whizbang factor of letting Roomba do it will be enough to send it up and down the halls twice a week (if not twice a night for a while…).

Heh, twice a night is feasible. The battery recharges in about 45 minutes. :)

Two things:

1. Clearly, you now need a Scooba®. :)

2. I will have to taunt you endlessly if you name your Roomba or buy clothing for it, or start to take it places with you, like a pet. (Don't laugh. There are those that do.)

We're discussing a name. All my names so far, Siercia has shot down. :)

The name's on the edge, but if you start knitting booties for it, I'm gonna have to point and laugh. :)

Kati now wants one... curse you and your influencing my life.

(actually I really want one now too)
