I know in the movies, they always do that, "explosives in the toothpaste container" (or at least Bond, James Bond does it), but REALLY....

In order to address the higher risk, the Department of Homeland Security has implemented the following new security measures until further notice.

No liquids or gels are permitted to enter the sterile area through the screening checkpoint or be in accessible property or on one’s person except:

* Baby formula, breast milk, or juice if a baby or small child is traveling
* Prescription medicine with a name that matches the passenger’s ticket
* Insulin and essential other non-prescription medicines

Examples of liquids and gels included in these security measures include:

* Beverages
* Shampoo
* Suntan Lotion
* Creams
* Toothpaste
* Hair Gel
* Other items of similar consistency

Also, you will not be allowed to bring any liquids or gels purchased after passing through the security checkpoint onboard the aircraft. Any beverages you puchase in the airport will have to be consumed before you board.

Remember, "terrorists" would never use a baby bottle to smuggle aboard liquid explosives, it'd be "immoral" or "unamerican", so THOSE MUST be safe.

Actually, you can't even purchase bottled liquids once you get past security. You can only get what they serve on the planes. Yeah, this is going to go over well.

The problem is it's a little hard to drive from New York to London. As for the water issue, they hardly serve you any liquid on planes, so I always take my own. If you're like, well, just about anyone, you're probably going to dehydrate on long flights now. You've done Boston to India - you know how that just ruins you with that horrible air conditioning and depressurising.
