Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come in the future. I, for one, welcome our traffic-enforcement overlords.

Rte. 128/I-95 North (I-95 to Mass Pike/I-90) Police checkpoint at Exit 16: Rte. 109. Breakdown lane enforcement. Expect delays.

And at that spot on the highway, during rush hour, it's legal to use the breakdown lane. So, nit sure what exactly they'd be looking for.

Probably TRUCKS in the breakdown lane, which I do see from time to time. Hey, if they can fit in the lane, more power to them. :)
