Farewell, friend

I got news tonight that a friend died, a friend from a game I played online. Farewell to Snooze, AKA gblake, who passed on tonight from complications in a surgery. I can honestly say I don't think I've known anyone who's recovered from the kind of illness he had, having never lost his sense of humor, his good attitude or his aptitude for making friends.

Too early gone, too simple lost,
A life is precious, without cost.
A year that makes, a second thieves
And we still here are left to grieve.
