*Happy Sigh*

Today is the first day in MONTHS where my back hasn't felt wrong. Literally, since Late December, when I apparently majorly sprained a muscle in my back, my back has felt just... wrong, either sore or tight, every day. After three weeks of point-physical therapy (which hurts like hell), and stretching and exercises, I just noticed today I had NO notice of my back at all. Sweeeeet.

Hooray! There's nothing like the absence of pain.

An absence of which the heart can grow fond ;-)

BTW, what is point-PT?

POint physical therapy involves deep tissue massage on ONE muscle at a time, and frequently involves a LOT of pressure, sometimes involving ELBOWS and KNUCKLES stuffed into those muscles. You apparently have to beat the muscle into submitting and relaxing. Yes, it can hurt like hell until the muscle gives up. :)

Owie! My muscles are waving little white flags just reading about it!

The only good parts are, A: it fixes the problems, and B: As you heal, the amount of prodding lessens. :)

Sign of the times?

On my f-list, your post is immediately followed by Nimmy's post about getting the senior discount.

Sheesh.

My back healing is a senior discount?
